Zed360

Privacy notice

What Zed360 collects, why, who can see it, and how to have it corrected or deleted. Last updated 14 October 2026.

The short version

  • Customers do not need an account. You can browse, save, compare, and post a request without telling us who you are.
  • A business never receives your phone number or email from Zed360. You decide whom to contact.
  • We do not sell your information, show advertising based on it, or track you across other websites.

If you are a customer

Browsing. Businesses you save or compare are kept in your own browser and are not sent to us. We count how many times a business page is viewed and how often its contact buttons are pressed, as daily totals only. Those totals do not record who you are, your device, or your internet address.

Posting a request. We store what you write: what you need, the category, the district if you give one, your timing, and your budget if you give one. Businesses that match can read this, so do not put your phone number, address, or anything private in the description.

Your email, if you give it. It is optional. We use it only to tell you a business has responded and, once, to ask how the request went. Businesses never see it.

Your private request link. Anyone who has the link can see your request and its responses and can change its outcome. Keep it to yourself.

Reviews. To stop fake reviews, a review is confirmed with a code sent to a WhatsApp number. We keep only a scrambled form of that number, which lets us recognise a repeat review without being able to read the number back. Reviews are published as “Verified customer”, without your name.

Reporting a listing. We store what you report and your email if you choose to give it.

Writing to us. We keep your message, and your name and email if you give them, so that we can read it and reply.

If you run a business

We store what you submit about the business: its name, description, services, products, prices, locations, opening hours, photos, phone, WhatsApp, email, and website. Once the business is approved, this is public. That is the purpose of a listing.

We also store the email address you sign in with, any registration details you declare, the responses you send to customers, and a record of changes to your profile. These are not public. Sign-in uses a link sent to your email, so we hold no password for you.

Keeping abuse out

To limit spam, we briefly use the internet address a request comes from to count how often it is used. We do not store it with your request, report, or review.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Zed360 runs on hosting and email services from other companies, and some of them store information outside Zambia.

A request stops being offered to businesses after 30 days or when you close it. We keep requests, responses, reviews, and business records while Zed360 needs them to work, to show how a request ended, and to investigate abuse. Ask us and we will delete what we hold about you, unless we must keep it to deal with a dispute or meet a legal duty.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete information about you, or object to how we use it. These rights are set out in Zambia’s Data Protection Act, 2021. Write to us. If it is about a customer request, include its private link so we can find it. Business owners can also change most of their information themselves after signing in.

If you are unhappy with our answer, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and change the date at the top. See also the terms of use.
